Oh man, let me tell you about this hidden gem I stumbled on. I mean, I've had my fair share of Mexican food, but this place just blew my mind! I'm talking about some of the most authentic, mouth-watering, and downright delicious Mexican cuisine I've had in a long time. I'm giving this place a solid 5 stars, and here's why.
First off, the Tacos Sincronizadas. Holy guacamole, these bad boys were out of this world! The flavors were so perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. It's like they took a little piece of Mexico and served it up on a plate. I could taste the love and passion that went into making these tacos, and I couldn't get enough of them.
Now, let me paint you a picture. We arrived at El Norteno just before closing time, and you know how some places can get a little grumpy when you show up late? Not these guys. The staff were so polite and welcoming, it felt like we were being invited into their home. They didn't rush us or make us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Instead, they treated us like family, and that's something you don't find every day.
The atmosphere at El Norteno was warm and inviting, with a touch of that laid-back, Mexican charm. It was the perfect setting to enjoy some amazing food and share a few laughs with friends. And speaking of laughs, the staff were not only polite but also had a great sense of humor. It's always a bonus when you can have a good time while enjoying a fantastic meal.
In a world where it's easy to find mediocre Mexican food, El Norteno stands out as a shining example of what authentic Mexican cuisine should taste like. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you haven't been to El Norteno yet, do yourself a favor and go check it out. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.
I haven't ate here in a while. The one time I decided to eat here and the meat that takes over my burrito and it's fat and stringy. The meat is not even chopped up and nasty. The potatoes are bland. So sad was looking forward to this burrito.
First visit glad I find out about this place.
I order the 4 street taco, 2 orders. The food was excellent Fresh, Hot and made to Order. The salsa homemade tasted great. Fresh ingredients.
Highly recommend this place
Plan on returning soon
Definitely a real authentic Mexican food haven. The staff was very sweet and efficient. The tortillas were so fresh and home made! A must stop when I'm in wichita falls.
Food is great you get a big meal for a good price. Not a lot of seating so dine in with a group bigger 7/8 not a good idea. But you can order and pick up.
Literally drove from OKC to Wichita just to get some breakfast burritos from here! Fresh homemade tortillas and all around great food and friendly staff! Love this place!
Within walking in and seating myself, I was given immediate service. Authentic customer service. Coffee was great. I had the chorizo with eggs and potatoes and beans. Great flavor and cooked good. The homemade tortilla was as big as a pizza. Amazing service and cozy location. The food was great. This coming from a well traveled out of towner.
Very good Chorizo and Pastor tacos, but, they only use 1 tortilla per taco, must ask for a second (50¢ extra each). With 2 tortillas, they are delicious! Add some jalapeños, green salsa, reposado, and they are very good. Only second to Gutierrez'.
